Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Lamma ("we", "us") about your use of the Lamma app and its services (the "Service"). If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Eligibility and age

• You must be at least 13 years old. The Service is not available to anyone younger.
• If you are 13 to 17, you must use the Service with your parent's or guardian's knowledge and consent where the law requires it, and your account automatically runs in teen mode (safer content, no purchases).
• The age group you choose must be true. Giving a false age breaks these terms.

Your account

You can use the Service as a guest or with an account (email, Google or Apple). You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for everything that happens under your account. A guest account lives on your device and may be lost if you uninstall the app; link it to an account to keep it.

About the characters and AI

• Replies may sometimes be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate. Don't rely on them for important decisions.
• The Service does not provide medical, psychological, legal or financial advice and is no substitute for a professional.
• The Service is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency services right away. The app shows support lines when needed.
• We may change or retire characters, AI models or features to improve the Service or for safety reasons.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service for:

• Any sexual content involving minors or that exploits children — strictly prohibited and reported to the authorities.
• Planning real harm to yourself or others, terrorism, weapons, drugs, or any illegal activity.
• Harassment, hate or discrimination, or impersonating real people to harm them.
• Trying to bypass safety limits or "jailbreak" the models into producing prohibited content.
• Bots, scraping, reverse engineering, overloading our servers, or circumventing allowances and payments.
• Reselling the Service or its output commercially without our permission.

Your content

You own what you send (text, images and audio). You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store and send it to our service providers only as needed to operate, provide and protect the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for what the law requires us to keep.

You may use the characters' replies for your personal purposes. You're responsible for how you use and share them.

Subscriptions and gems

• The app offers a free plan with a one-time trial allowance that doesn't refill, and paid subscriptions (Plus and VIP) that renew automatically through Google Play until you cancel.
• Gems are an in-app virtual currency for sending gifts to characters. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money, and can't be transferred between accounts.
• Payments and refunds follow Google Play's policies and applicable law. Details are on the Subscriptions & Purchases page.
• "Unlimited" plans have a fair-use cap to stop automated abuse; normal human use never gets near it.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app or on the account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms, put others or the Service at risk, or if the law requires it. If we terminate for a violation, unused gems may not be refunded unless the law says otherwise.

Intellectual property

The app, its characters, their names, stories, images and voices, its design and logo belong to us or our licensors. Using the Service gives you no rights in them except a limited right to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we don't guarantee that it will always be available or error-free, or that AI replies will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, or loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on AI replies. Our total liability won't exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you can't waive under the consumer protection laws of your country.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the developer is established, without affecting the mandatory protections of the laws of the country where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute informally.

Changes

We may change these terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date and tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
